Snowtime!

Looking at the pictures from back home it seems to be an encouraging day for XC skiers in the Valley.  The GMVS Team is out in West Yellowstone, Montana getting in a little more consistent snow and loving every bit of it.

Check out our homemade wax bench representing VT! Ski Erg from Craftsbury, and Vermont 99 and 1% for the Planet  from Waitsfield.
One of the things that makes our program unique is our thirst for adventure.  When we first got to Bozeman we took a trip up Sourdough Canyon along Bozeman Creek.  The gradually climbing trail took us up to some cool vistas, and by lots of neat rock formations.  Oh yeah, and it was all downhill on the way back.

Good stuff!  We hope the temperature stays cool back home and we look forward to sharing our stories with you when we return.  We will be traveling to the Craftsbury Opener on December 10th -- please contact Justin at beck@gmvs.org if you would like to join us!
This will be a chance to check out a low-key race or just to ski around and check it out.
